The kind of page no marketing site has but a Lab site should. This is the honest state of the bench — what just shipped, what I'm actively working on, what's broken in a way I'm living with, and what I'm deliberately ignoring for now. Hand-updated when things change.

    Rewrote all 7 project pages with 3-paragraph bodies, wove in real iMessage quotes for ARIA and Jingle Family pulled from the Nexus DB over Tailscale, added Smithy as the 8th project, generated 8 monochrome+amber datasheet schematics via FLUX on Furnace, added OG social card, colophon, /now, keyboard shortcuts, print stylesheet.

  • Nexus data quality sweep

    Deleted 73K rows of silent failures, drained 2,856 stuck jobs, disabled 5 broken data sources with clear error notes, added a merge audit with undo buttons.
  • Smithy Pass 2 cutover

  • Per-node infrastructure detail pages

    /infrastructure/furnace, /crucible, /anvil, /bellows — each with a real hardware story, service inventory, and a datasheet schematic. Converting the infra TS data file into an MDX content collection as part of the move.
  • Live infra status widget

    Build-time fetch from Forge's /metrics endpoint to show model count, VRAM usage, and last-updated timestamp on /infrastructure. Re-deploys via webhook from Forge.
  • Smithy Pass 3 — Expand/Video/Restore

    Wiring the remaining tabs through chat_bridge. Video gen via Wan 2.1 is the trickiest — needs a different metadata flow than still images.
  • QLoRA adapter training

    Training set is 98K records deep and ready. Adapter hasn't actually been trained yet. This is the project I keep saying I'll finish next weekend.
STUCK Known issues I'm living with
  • AMD Vulkan stability on gfx1151
    forge
    Recurring `radv/amdgpu` kernel-level OOMs under memory pressure. Mitigated with --vae-tiling, --clip-on-cpu, and a gpu-watchdog timer, but the underlying issue is a kernel/driver bug that upstream hasn't fixed. Running with workarounds indefinitely.
  • Wan 2.2 VAE incompatible with sd-cli master-537

    Locked to wan_2.1_vae.safetensors. Need to either upgrade sd-cli or wait for the master build to learn the 2.2 VAE shape. Not urgent but limits video quality upside.

    Too early-stage for public showcase. Running privately for infrastructure monitoring. Will revisit when there's a compelling demo or a shipped user-facing feature.
  • recon / sec_bench

    Purpose-built for security research with an abliterated LLM. Useful privately, too niche to lead with on the portfolio.

    The datasheet schematics work. Real photos would be nice but not urgent — the site reads better monochrome for now.
